The Behavioral Health Resource Center (BHRC) is a voluntary person and family-centered service designed to help all Dane County residents access behavioral health services in Dane County, regardless of insurance status, financial status, age, identity, ability, or legal status. BHRC staff are available to help connect you to resources for your mental health and/or substance use needs.

HOPELINE is the first Emotional Support Text Line in the State of Wisconsin and provides service throughout the entire state. HOPELINE’s purpose is to offer emotional support and resources before situations rise to crisis level. HOPELINE Text Line serves anyone in any type of situation, providing access to free, 24/7 emotional support and information via the text medium that already is commonly used and trusted.

A live, trained specialist receives the text and responds quickly.
Each person that texts in is important to us and we care about what they are dealing with.
The Dane County 24-Hour Crisis Hotline is a resource that anyone from Dane County can use if they are experiencing emotional distress or a psychiatric crisis
